Anders / PL-01 direct-fire concepts

The Anders / PL-01 family was not a fielded tank family. It was a linked set of Polish demonstrators, mock-ups, and direct-fire-support studies that attempted to combine the firepower normally associated with main battle tanks with a lighter, modular tracked chassis.

The Anders official page emphasizes centralized electronic networks and stabilized optical targeting systems. There was no serial production of Anders light-tank/direct-fire vehicles or PL-01. The program produced demonstrator and mock-up vehicles rather than a service fleet. OBRUM’s official company page places the organization inside Poland’s defense-industrial ecosystem, under PGZ ownership supervision, and describes a full-cycle concept-to-serial-production mission.
